1. Improving the Attractiveness of Cities
This pillar aims to transform the region’s cities into attractive centers for residents and investors. This is achieved by improving urban planning, strengthening infrastructure, and providing modern facilities that meet the needs of citizens. Improving the attractiveness of cities also includes the development of green spaces and public areas, the renovation of old neighborhoods, while focusing on enhancing the quality of life and stimulating economic growth by supporting commercial and service projects.
2. Strengthening Connections and Communication
The program’s objective is to strengthen the connections between the cities and provinces of the region by developing the road network and transport infrastructure. This includes improving land, air, and sea connections to enable smooth travel between areas, thereby enhancing commercial and tourist exchanges, and facilitating access to essential services such as healthcare and education. Improved communication between the provinces also promotes economic integration and creates more investment opportunities.
3. Renewal of key productive economic sectors
The program focuses on the development and revitalization of the region’s key economic sectors, such as agriculture, fishing, craftsmanship, and tourism. Supporting these vital productive sectors is essential for creating jobs, improving local incomes, and achieving sustainable economic development. By investing in modern technologies, strengthening local skills, and facilitating market access, the program aims to enhance the efficiency of these sectors and make them more competitive.
4. Support for social sectors and access to services
This objective includes improving social sectors, including health, education, and social services. The program focuses on providing modern infrastructure for hospitals and schools, thus ensuring all segments of society have access to health and education services. Combating desertification is a top priority to ensure the sustainability of natural resources and prevent environmental degradation that could negatively impact economic sectors such as agriculture.
